Comments
Comments: The initial ascent from the trailhead has a thick cover of leaves which hides loose rocks and roots requiring diligence especially on descent. Most of the ledges were dry and the few spots of wet rocks can easily be avoided. Noticed some new trail signs with a loon carrying a backpack with a walking stick and hiking boots (Loon Echo Land Trust).
Saw many other hikers coming from various trailheads. Great views west to the White Mountains and overlooks to the region's many lakes in all directions. The appeared to be a banner cloud of the southern side (downwind) of Mt Washington.
