Crossing on Blueberry Ridge was hoppable, though not easily. |

Trails in good shape. A few stepovers and one climb on the loop, pretty much par for wilderness trails. Leaf cover down low could obscure ice. |

A perfect 9 mile loop over Blueberry and up to Speckled. Temperatures were cool, but I managed well in base layers, mostly because I kept moving. Ankle deep leaves down low, and some still yet to fall. Moody skies, with lenticular clouds stacking up over the Royces. Great views from both Blueberry and Speckled, I'll be coming back for these peaks again. Redlined out all the above trails as well. A very quick Wednesday hike, before the weather turned.
