Comments
Comments: This was our first time coming to Blue Hills Reservation and we were quite surprised by the fact that it contains 7000 acres and has over 125 miles of trails. We only did the loop on the Red Dot Trail, which is not a hard hike or time consuming by any stretch. We did take the side trip over to the top of the ski area, then of course we went to the observation tower and finished on the summit the the weather observatory is. It was very busy at the tower. When we got back down we went and checked out the animal exhibit. All and all it was a good day and we plan to go back again some time in the future and check out more of the 125 miles of trails there. We did post a video for anyone wondering what the hike was like on our YouTube channel. Just click the link...
