| Water Crossing Notes: |
Several minor and 3 majors.... All easy to cross. One is bridged. I would pick and choose which ones to get water from. Some are flowing bette than others. |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
All is well. |
|
| Dog-Related Notes: |
It's warm out. As a general rule, bring extra water! There are long stretches here with little to drink and some of the water is undrinkable. This was a 14.3 mile round trip, if you try this or longer hikes, make sure your dog can handle the mileage. |

14.3 miles round trip on the AT from Washington Mtn Rd to Grange Hall rd. This puts me on the outskirts of Dalton MA... A great hike today through some rolling hills and shade forest. Saw White tail deer heading up to Warner Hill too. The flowers are blooming here in Massachusetts and it feels like Winter never happened anymore. Excited to keep heading North to finish the state on Mt Greylock. |
