Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Jug End Rd is gravel with several pull offs. It was crowded when I got there this morning and worse when I got back to the car.
Surface Conditions
Surface Conditions: Dry Trail
Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Mostly dry here. One small seep that I really would not even trust my dog to drink.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Trail is in great shape here.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: No water on this section. Make sure you pack plenty for yourself and your dog. Ledges leading up to Jug End may give some dogs trouble. Otherwise, it's a pretty flat trail or has a gradual incline from Jug End to Mt. Everett.
Bugs
Bugs: Not today.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Nothing.

Comments
Comments: My long weekend got condensed to a day hike. So, I went out to Mt. Everett on the AT from Jug End Rd. Quite a different environment than New Hampshire but I am happy to say that I am looking forward to more miles throughout Massachusetts.
