Comments
Comments: Very enjoyable 24 mile spring warm up hike. Some beautiful miles. No mud problems. Got a shuttle from Joel at All Points Driving Service from end point to Goose Pond Rd. 13.1 miles to Mt Wilcox South Shelter. There was an old (30's and a new 2000s) shelter and bear box and privy. Hiked out 10.8 miles to Kellog Rd. I was alone at the shelter and saw maybe 20 people over 24 miles.

In a mid-May Big Bob & I plan to head to Springer and finish the GA AT. We have 556 miles down and 1628 to go.
