Found the last space in the park's very small parking area - people were parking along road but there was construction in process!!!! |

Deadfall along the Fernwood Lake Tr, also, confusing blazing once the trail leaves the reservation - I found myself at the edge of a lake with old park-like relics (poles with broken wooden tabs on top - lots of poles) but had a GPS so I found my way back, of course, but, would be confusing if I weren't equipped!!!! Also, I took a side path to Bond Hill and found the top fenced off with maybe WW2/cold war?-era relics? |

Lots of dogs, and, of course, regrettably being in the "nanny" state, there were lots of signs to keep your dog on-leash near the vernal pools. |

Horrible mosquitoes!!!! I wasn't planning on necessarily jogging this park but the bugs were horrible - I ended up running most of the perimeter to out"run" the bugs. |

Really neat OLD park in Gloucester!!!!! I had fun navigating the carriage roads and enjoying the big boulders!!!!! Really fun area to explore! Thanks 10th edition of the AMC Massachusetts Trail Guide!!! :) |
