Comments
Comments: Trail was snow/ice free and mostly dry.
Bare Mountain, Mt. Holyoke, and Mt. Norwottock portions were busy, however between Bare and Mt. Holyoke was relatively quiet. My phone claims it's 4.4 miles from 116 to Mt. Holyoke (one way). Generally decent single track jogging footing with some areas of minor scrambles and loose rock to contend with, as well as lots of ups and downs. Nice directional views on Holyoke, Hitchcock, Bare, and a few of the unnamed peaks in between.
Also slow motion jogged to Norwottock on fumes; noted the initial portion of the trail was been rerouted in recent years to avoid the gravel pit until crossing under the power line. Summit views aren't quite as strong as I remembered due to encroaching trees, but still decent.
