After work today, I took a short walk to the 715' summit of Mt. Pisgah in Northboro, about 15 minutes from my home. It was a good fit for the end of a low energy week. Even though this is nearby, I often forget about it, but there's some nice woods walking in here, and the wide woods roads will make for great snowshoeing when winter arrives.
Most trail segments are short, but you could piece together a 5-7 mile hike. The North View outlook is getting pretty grown in and narrow. The South View outlook is more open. The wooded summit highpoint is marked with a small cairn and USGS benchmark.
